Unfortunately, it only seems to work for attractive women.
Also, I haven't seen the show, but I figured it'd be the kind of thing the Watcher would, well, watch |

If I did nothing but watch stuff, I would mostly watch Lauren Graham as well. |

Tim, are you just attracted to Lauren Graham, or do you find the character of Lorelai attractive, too? |

What the hell is a gilmore girl?
I thought the Fulcrum went to other realities whenever someone asks Justin if she can be a cameo, and to pick up and drop off the Fulcrumcave's janitor. |

The rationale is that every universe has its own version of the Fulcrum, though they may not be called "The Fulcrum". At one point the Mindmistress comic featured Tina Fulcrum, but that was because they physically transported into the KnTinaverse, and she was basically like, "Hey, you're not supposed to be here, let me help you find the way out." |

Pardon the delayed reaction,
Yeah, I have a really bad habit of lusting over actresses, when in fact the character is what attracts me.
Scarlet Johansen is currently my "it girl" and I make no arguments that it is completely because her character in Lost in Translation is pretty much my dream girl.
See also: I think Kirstin Dunst is a vapid broad, but Mary Jane is an entirely different matter.
Basically, I like these girls for their personalities. Their FAKE personalities. I am messed up bad. |

I just ask because it is my opinion that Lorelai is the most selfish character I've ever seen on a TV show. The way she treats Luke is horrible, and, yeah, her Mom tends to meddle, but Lorelai lies to her parents constantly and treats them like dirt.
But she sure is pretty. |

In a way, I'm serious, because these character types take super-hot girls that would slap a restraining order on me faster than you can say "let's just be friends" and put them in character roles of girls I tend to go for.
Also: I am sensitive and misunderstood, like Spider-Man. |

Gotcha.
Anyway, I'm the same way. I don't fancy an actor because he's cute--it's because of his character. So maybe that's not a bad thing? |

Did you guys ever watch Wonderfalls? The lead character, Jaye, was cynical and quick witted and for some eff'ed up reason I find that really hot. |

I liked Clarissa, of Clarissa Explains it All when I was, like, 12.
Does that count? |

I want to delete the Clarissa post in retrospect, but I see Tim on here and figure he's already seen that post by now, and Internet = no backsies. Fire away about my Melissa Joan-Hart love, everyone. |

Haha, so did I but now I can't stand Melissa Joan Hart. Probably because she hasn't been in anything remotely interesting since then?
EDIT: Justin I'm ashamed of you for not standing by your principles. |

Jaye from Wonderfalls: Hott but annoying.
Lorelai from Gilmore Girls: Hott but annoying.
Clarissa from Clarissa Explains it All: Not hott and annoying.
Frog girl from Dead Like Me: THE HOTTS. |

Since Wonderfalls is off the air, Lorelai/Lauren Graham is my big TV crush (along with Judy Reyes and Christa Miller from Scrubs). The best is when Lauren Graham is on Conan O'Brian, I can combine my girl crush with my boy crush.
I find Lorelai's selfishness endearing, cause it's never mean spirited and it's sort of an innocent kind of selfish. No one really gets hurt over the things she's selfish about, at most Luke loses an afternoon. |

Apparently not having cable for years and years deprived me of hot actresses to lust over.
If this is good or bad remains to be seen. |

Not to go off topic but about that fan movie...
Wow, it looks like someone has been on a BudK shopping spree! That someone is Batman. |

hey 5s i read 'the long halloween' today at barnes and nobel
i don't know what i expect from batman, but i think it's somewhere between 'worlds greatest detective' and 'running crazy trying to find an appropriate place to drop a bomb' and i'm not sure if 'the long halloween' was enough of what i expect.
what i am saying is i want 'more cartoony' but not 'too cartoony' where should i go? |

A friend lent me a bunch of the 87 run of Justice League which became Justice League International. It's a pretty good halfway point between wacky and badass. The first seven issues of the run are collected in Justice League: A New Beginning. |
