I gotta ask - did you actually make a woodcut for this? |

Nick, this one is really fantastic. Granted, they're pretty much all fantastic, but this one's got a very economic feel to it. Also French.
I don't think the woodcut spectrum of the webcomic world has bee effectively exploited. |

The face was actually in response to the fact that he possibly made a woodcut for the comic.
But thanks anyway for the translation |

Pretty great stuff.
You should raffle off the theoretical woodcut. |

lets see if i get this right... death tries to kill a baby by rolling its carriage off a hill whilst two unsuspecting mothers stand by. Unfortunately death is thwarted by physics as the carriage comes to a stop before the lake. Its kinda hard to see but it looks like death is a bit peeved. forgive me if this was obvious. also woodcut=A+. |

I think the baby may also be flipping tiny baby-sized birds at Death from inside the perambulator. |

this is also what I thought, so it MUST be correct. also, I think its funnier if the baby is reaching for a cuddle off of Mr Death |

I have an alternative interpretation that went through my mind. The baby is Death's own child, but for some reason - probably a job transfer - Death must leave the child. He pushes it away, only to have the child reach for him. It brings Death great pain to leave the loving relationship.
OK, so it doesn't work very well.
HEY GOD! Do me a favor and make my lame-ass interpretation come true! |

Should it be "du"? I could never work-out when it should be "du".
I am very disappointed that death is not a hot brunette with an amiable chauffeur. |

"du" is for when you combine "de" and "le". so, masculine singular nouns in the partitive.
but death is a lady! mort is a feminine noun! thus, de la
(say, that makes me wonder about sandman comics translated into french. the french word "delirium", "délire", is masculine. so does that seem odd to french readers of sandman? of course, with translation you lose the delicious alliteration.) |

Use an italian flag.
You know how you can know if people are dumb. Ask them what language the ancient Romans spoke, and most of the time people will have a really hard time figuring it out. |
