This comic has really nice art but I can't read it because it makes me feel dirty for some reason. |

I kinda stopped reading cause the cute art Vs. serious story dissonance gave me a headache. Freaking great artwork, though. And I love anyone that keeps sepia alive in their hearts. |

I am universally repelled by "furries," but this Lackadaisy is done in a sort of vintage Disney way that doesn't come off as creepy at all. In any case, I really dig it. |

Is this the same guy who did "Cat's can't dance"? Style is so similar. |

goodness yes! It reminds me of the movies I watched when I was a kid, like The Great Mouse Detective etc |

I don't think it's creepy at all.
The chick who draws it doesn't seem to even know what a furry is (see the FAQ). She just thinks it means an animal that's furry. And she's been drawing cats like this since she was a kid I mean come on people. |

I've been reading it for a while, but I never found it creepy. And if anything, I love the serious-ish subject vs cutesy art. It's almost like vintage Disney, only a lot more daring. You get the feeling that if Disney tried to pick it up, there would be quite a bit of editing and cutting stuff out. |

I didn't read the whole thing, but I didn't see anything creepy at all in the ones that I looked at? I mean, it's just prohibition-era cats trying to make a buck and getting into scrapes. If it was really some furry sex thing it would be called like Mountin' Cats or Kitten Canoodle or Careless Whiskers. |

so, if you guys like the comic, could you look over the Wikipedia page? It was just made but it's a copy of the "furry" wikipedia page and it is really bad. |

it's kind of a furry comic but if it is a full furry comic then so are pretty much all Disney movies. Vaguely unsettling because of the furry connection. |

I think the connection is mainly in the mind though. Furries have all but ruined anthropomorphized animals for lots of people.
I'm at least willing to give Lackadaisy the benefit of the doubt since the art is so good. That said, I will never ever set foot inside the Lackadaisy forums. |
