So seriously, who here likes Akbar and Jeff? I know I do. One of my favorite strips and I've barely even scratched the surface.
I'll soon be doing a tribute to Akbar and Jeff.
Edit: I've finished my tribute to Akbar and Jeff.
If you care to take a look, it is here. |

I love Life in Hell. The Akbar and Jeff fill the majority of my Life in Hell favourites. Bongo is also cool too
But seriously: Who is your favourite?
AKBAR OR JEFF?
JEFF OR AKBAR? |

Also, while we are on the subject, I remember someone on another forum being highly pleased by the fact that I knew of the existence of Akbar and Jeff.
I believe they were refering to this comic.

A bit of context: The actual joke was in the bottom left corner as it was around the time of the Danish Cartoon Crisis.
Yikes! |

Matt Groening is still doing stuff with Futurama, right?
I mean, it seems like at least some of his stuff is still right. |

It's just as good as the series but with a bigger budget so it looks even better |

Also, the movie had an even more complex and intellectual plot than even the late season 4 stuff
So I don't know what the hug you're talkin' about |

whaaat the movie plot was dumb and didn't even serve as a backdrop or w/e to any good jokes
they could have made the time traveling stuff interesting but they decided not to (??)
and the pacing was predictable and completely boring it was like SHOT-GAG-SHOT-GAG-SHOT-GAG as soon as the camera angle changed you knew something "funny" was going to happen in about three seconds
basically the movie bugged me enough for me to write a bunch of words about it on the internet
e: ackbar and jeff is p. cool |

Except no orchestra, so even though it looks better, it sounds like keyboard demo. |

Zem, I think maybe while you were watching Bender's Big Score you fell asleep and dreamed a lousy movie? The time travel stuff was awesome, it was perfect. |

Any world where going back nineteen seconds to make yourself cover for yourself while you take a leak is not an interesting use of time travel is not a world I want any part of. |
