Anyway, the answer is yes. (Edit: Probably!)

www.talesofinsecurity.net

I have created a website dedicated to my favorite virtue, the uncertainty of personal character. Since I have no experience in building a website, I was wondering if any of you crazy wonderful people have any advice about the process, or any requests to what sorts of things should go on a website about insecurity.

I would decide myself, but that seems sort of hypocritical. What with the insecurity thing and all.

Yeah.

Was I out of line when I started whoring out my new website here? I probably was. I'M SORRY EVERYBODY, I THOUGHT WE WERE FRIENDS.

But seriously, if you like formal poetry, I've been told I'm pretty good at it and stuff. I mean, sometimes. I guess. Right? You know?

Okay, I guess I'll fade away again, maybe just debate the KillerDeathRobot or something. That's always fun. Fun!

No, it's cool! Do you have any more specific questions?

Actually, yes! I do have a specific question. How do you do that comment thing, like on your robot blog? It involves some sort of .cgi dealie that I don't understand, and that's all that I know.

I would like to set up a system where people could leave opinions about the little things on the site, as I really do very much want to know what people think. Because, you know, I think I'm pretty good at the whole poetry thing, but I'm always afraid to show them to people. It always seems pretentious to go, "Oh yeah, I'm a poet. My canvas is the human soul." This is why I don't use my actual name on the site, why it's always either (MWA) or The Mop. It's a good way to hide.

So yeah, how do I set up the comment thing? Unless it's too complex to answer, in which case I will find a way to utilize The Mop's Livejournal.

My site runs off of Movable Type, which has a commenting system, among other things.

That looks like a pretty nice system!

I don't think I'm going to implement it, though.

I just updated my site to make it more pleasing to the eye, and soon The Limerick of Gilgamesh will have The Mop's primal brand of illustration to accompany. Exciting, eh? Eh?

It just occured to me that I didn't explicitly ask people to tell me what they think of my site. And so I guess I'll do that. Hey, what do you think of my site?

Hey, Abbyzzmal,

I totally updated your site tonight.

I just thought that I would tell you, since you seem to be out of the loop and all.

Anyway, cheers.

You totally need have Godot somewhere in Obligation of the Gods. He'd fit in perfectly.

Hey Sludgie, I'm really glad you're posting more often!

Is that ironic, or something?
