When coffee is "black" it is just coffee with no extra stuff in it. Just pure coffee. Sugar is extra stuff.

I sometimes put sugar in my coffee but I don't say that it is black.

black is a color and sugar doesn't change the color
i've never really heard anyone refer to black as without anything at all
whenever i order coffee black they ask if i want sugar in it, at any coffee shop ever

have you guys ever had cold brew coffee? It's pretty good. I made a bunch yesterday in my french press so I won't have to make coffee for a few days at least.

Iced coffee is good for those really hot summer days when you just need to wake up but don't want to drink anything hot.

i really enjoy tea and coffee but i have a hard time drinking it while reading. i cant listen to music or be around people i know, too. does anyone else have that problem?

It's kind of a concentrate so you can dilute it with water a little if you want. It tends to be lower acid than regular coffee too, so it's good when you don't have good coffee beans.

Maybe at first blush. But if you really think about it, drinking a cup of milk that tastes like butter doesn't sound that good either.
