to have an off-site image database of some sort for avatars and other images where people could say "hey don't show me any nsfw images when I'm on this IP from now on... please instead show me the picture that the uploader of said nsfw image indicated as the sfw image"

so that we can have nsfw beautiful ladies month

i guess this is probably a bad idea anyways and ryan would have to put a "YOU MUST BE OVER 18 TO VIEW THE FORUMS I AGREE I DISAGREE" page or something haha

yup

you could do it either by IP or by cookie

dude would link to maybesfw.com/sexyimage.jpg (or whatvever) and if the cookie was set it'd redirect to the sexy image and if not then the unsexy image
or vice versa, but I think the sexyness should be opt-in for aforementioned reasons

I could set up the backend, Boorishly, but TaBB doesn't support the embed tag so it wouldn't work. I could put the text in images instead, but customer satisfaction would take a hit.

Customer satisfaction always takes a hit when you go from a free to a pay model. But Ryan North has been getting a free ride for too long, living off the ad revenue from eyeballs I bring to his forum. It's time we all got our shares too!
