It was great and "There Are Angels" is one of my favorites so that was a plus.

dont like the show much exept the one where they met the girls that did drugs and stuff and they accidently took acid that one was good

Yeah I think that will probably be an issue in the next episode. FOTC isn't a continuity-heavy series but if events like breakups and hair-helmets carry from episode to episode, I think losing all their stuff probably would too?

The second song (with all the girl's names rhyming with things?) was really really great, the kind of song I'd want to learn to play.

gonna throw some stuff out there about supporting cast getting songs in the new series:

mel - gets to sing way too much

greg and doug - should be in more songs

dave - probably at a good level now

Hey I figured out the chords (MAYBE)

(D) Loretta broke my heart in a letter, she (A) told me she was leaving and her life would be better. Joan (STILL A), she broke it off over the phone: (D) After the tone, she left me alone.

(Continue to alternate between D and A at extremely predictable intervals.)

(Bm) Carol Brown just took a (G) bus out of (No chord/Gm) town...

(Seems like in the actual song there's no chord, but it feels like a Gm should go there and that's what I'd do if I were performing this song)

(still no chord) But I'm hoping that you'll stick around.

(Em) He doesn't cook or clean, he's not (D) good boyfriend ma- (A) -terial

(This section is just Em, Em, D, A over and over, including the part where the girls go "Aaaaah")

(For the rest of the song, you've got D/A in the main verse parts, Bm/G/(Gm) for the Carol Brown parts, and Em/D/A for the choir of ex-girlfriends)

(outro on D)

OBVIOUSLY IT HELPS if you perform this song with a girl or girls to provide the vocal accompaniment, and to play the instrumental bit on synth/keyboards/glockenspiel/whatever.

"Bus Driver Song" (hasn't been on the show I don't think? but it's so good) is mostly F, Gm, Bb, A, repeat. Then it throws in Cm and D for some reason and it's really hard to remember.

i agree with this

and although i enjoy murray in songs i feel like he's either at the right level or maybe should be toned down a bit
