Tell us a story about how Truth and Beauty Bombs started, and about how you all got together and ended up sharing a forum! Maybe you could also tell us a story or two about how your webcomics started to begin with? |

can the pirates' parrots be vampires, at least? They could have clipped wings so escape can be easy. |

Agh, sorry. I didn't know that was a rule.
I could read the rules, but that would make me square and antisocial. |

Or, we could all just speculate about how their comics got started, our theories getting wilder and more unwieldy as the topic gets longer, and some day the TABB guys will finally show up and read the topic and decide that really was how things started. It's on the Internet, it must be true! |

I think TABB was always around, they just found it, studied it and eventually were able to WIELD ITS POWER. |

I propose TaBB was a freak accident involving some HTML, a lot of nuclear waste, even more elbow macaroni, glitter glue and old NES references.
I also speculate there would be an epic battle between pirates and ninjas, and a roadtrip to west coast to attend a vicious video game competition.
By the by, I'm belbeeno. Nice to meet everybody! |

When I first read your name, it reminded me of "Beepo" from that awful game "Overblood."
Not that any of you have heard of it or anything. Reference waste! |

I heard Truth and Beauty Bombs started out as a Canadian Military experiment, but got out of control and turned into a forum.
I was invited by Ryan last summer. For a long time, I posted with strange guest names, fearing viruses and commitment. |

Was I the only one who read this thread title and thought "Ryan, Joey, Steve and Nick: If I like a girl, who cares who you lick!"? I guess New Edition is just wired into my consciousness like that. |

I've always kinda liked the idea that TaBB dropped out of a time warp and actually comes to us from the future. This is a good theory, it involves Ryan and the others wearing necklaces with Oroboros Worms on them and worshipping at pagan temples made up of ancient monoliths while at the same time greatly appreciating the powers of science and mocking the entire Grandfather Theory of Time Travel. Huttah! |

I don't know, but I bet I'm the only one who read the title and thought:
"Yes, please do!"
"And be quick about it, or you'll be asleep again before it's done."
Alice in Wonderland is wired into my consciousness like that. |

is anybody else a little disappointed that none of the authors has taken the time to tell us a story? i was at first until i realized the truth behind TaBB...... i can't tell you what that truth is though; your minds couldn't handle it (and it seems that mine is having trouble coming up with amusing nonsense today) |

Nick took the time to answer (though he didn't log in). For that, I thank him. He was always my favorite author on here anyway and I never wanted to hear whatever stupid stories the stupid rest of them had to share anyway! So, no. I AM NOT DISAPPOINTED. |

I wish I could help you, Boorishly. I can tell you that originally it was just Ryan and Joey, and that Steve and Nick were added after the board started being hosted on qwantz instead of on Talk About Comics, but how Ryan and Joey met and started Truth and Beauty Bombs, I know not. |
