I think he tried once, and nothing happened. I am pretty sure the guys at his current place fixed the database for a while one time though. It just got sucky again.

Yeah, TaBB is still hosted by Dreamhost same as always.

to be honest its not all that bad.

We dont REALLY need to change.

Besides if that means we won't get new users from the internet because of the board version thats even better... i mean if only that had kept .......... away

What I like about PHPBB3 is that it keeps threads marked as unread when you log out and doesn't mark them as read until you actually read them. This would be great for here because if there is a 500 error or whatever I won't be logging back onto a board that looks like it has no new posts for me to read.

Edit: I totally had that backwards.

Reading this thread makes me feel like a spy and a voyeur ALL AT ONCE. Just like it has for the past two years when I've been reading it silently!!!!!

Xylo I cleared out the sessions table once when I was doing database stuff so one of the logouts was totally on me

It was "my bad"

Actually, one thing about the original post: when you upgrade (I am assuming you will at this point) please turn off prior post notification. Notices that someone else posted before you when you're posting is irritating and also removes all chances for hilarious misinterpretations.

The phpbb3 conversion script needs more than 30 seconds to run, and Dreamhost is capping it at 30 seconds. I've emailed their support for help!
