My mom gave me this game as a graduation present. Does anyone know about/like it? I can't really find people to play it with. |

I used to play it a long time ago. I don't really know how you'd find a group of people to play with you, but there is definitely at least one group of people in your city that plays that weekly. That and other games. |

I've played a couple of times. It's a pretty good game from what I can tell. |

It's pretty good. It's like Monopoly with actual win conditions. |

I have the trial version of Catan on my Xbox. So far I've only played it on easy a couple of times to get the principles down but it is hilarious trading one card for two cards of different resources over and over again until nobody has enough to build anything. I am seriously considering buying the full version of the game so I can play a real game against real people. |

I loves the SoC. I also love Cupcakes of Catan! |

oh man i played last night with some random people and it was really a great time! Everyone had fun except for the guy who had no chance of winning because he put all his starting settlements on 2s and 3s :\ |

This is a popular website where you can play Settlers as well as a few other games against others online:
playcatan.com
Costs about $6.50 a month if you want to play the expansions or the other games. |

I always call it "lumber" to circumvent the otherwise inevitable sixth-grade giggles. |

Why Boorishly plays Catan with middle schoolers I will never know. |
