I need some new podcasts to subscribe to to listen to while I'm working. Right now I'm only subscribed to This American Life, Radio Lab, and Car Talk.

Does anyone have any to recommend?

I like stuff about science, nature...uh funny things...ummm
Well I'll give anything a listen at least once

The only podcast I listen to is about video games.
Idle Thumbs (wait for the redirect)
It's not about science or nature, but I find it hilarious so.

I really like the Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me podcast. Though if you are trying to make your podcast list less NPRy, I can't help you.

Yesss Wiretap is my favourite Radio Show. Also Search Engine is great. DNTO the show usually not very good, though. Never heard the podcast version.

i think dnto is interesting often enough to keep me listening. it's a little unfulfilling since it never really tries to make any real points but sometimes there are odd interviews that i like.

Ditto to YLNT.

Also: The Sound of Young America and Jordan, Jesse Go.

TSOYA is sort of hit or miss, depending on whether or not you're interested in the guests (which range from Jenna Fisher from the Office to NPR hosts to David Malki !). Jordan, Jesse Go is almost always entertaining, though I'd recommending listening to at least 2-3 episodes before judging it, because you kind of have to get used to their personas, and a lot of the humor is in callbacks and in-jokes.

The little gray book lectures is talks about strange things. John Hodgman and Jonathan Coulton are hosts:

The Ricky Gervais show. a radio show. Only the episodes with Karl Pilkington is worth listening to. He is not in the early episodes, and also not a few of the later ones.

There is a Ricky Podcast made for the internet too, but it costs money. Haven't listened to it.

Here are a clips from the podcast, I think it's funny:

Okay I play or am at least familiar with enough games to appreciate HAWP but not quite enough I think to appreciate this podcast. It sounds like it would be pretty good though for people who do. neeeext

I listened to a couple eps of The Moth and it was okay but I really like the dude who does Savage Love and wish I had downloaded more for today. The dude is just really good at giving advice, plus in a funny way! I like it. Definite subscribe. I'm probably going to pass on lake wobegon though; I cannot stand prairie home companion. DX The rest I haven't gotten to download yet.

because sometimes you don't want to listen to music or sit in silence but you can't watch tv or movies because you're at work or exercising or driving.

I was really disappointed by this one. karl Pilkington makes me want to die in a non hilarous way (which i guess is his stichk, but i just don't like it).
And ricky gervais just seems to scream hysterically throughout.

I get the scientific american one and penny arcade. i can usually fit just about a single episode into a walk to work:)
