our 100 and 0 degrees make sense. Its body temperature if you're using old timey inaccurate thermometers and the temperature at which salt stops melting ice. So that way you know if its under 0 degrees F school is going to be canceled tomorrow.
also i have heard rumblings on the internet that other english speaking countries use the measurement of stones and that all stones weigh 14 lbs. all of them. |
