If you have a webcomic you'd like people to check out then this is the thread to do it!
I have a comic it is called Dinosaur Comics and it is at www.qwantz.com.
- Nice! |

Check out my webcomic!
I take these pictures and then I write these things on them. I've been doing this very thing for like 2 years now! |

Well, for what it's worth, it's not a very good comic. |

Hmm. This more or less sums up what I'm doing lately, only change "years" to "months" and add a Fudgie the Whale picture on top of the whole post.
But don't you think our threads about "arts and stuff", i.e. our webcomics, should stay over in "Arts and Stuff" and this section could be all non-art internet stuff? Or is that wrong? |

My comic is also on the Internets but it's on a subscription site but the most recent one is not but you have to pay to see all of the archive but not some of the free archive. |

I think this seems to fit more blatantly in "look at this website", whereas the "art" one seems more open into discussion and possible critiques of a particular piece. |

I RESENT THE IMPLICATION THAT WEBCOMICS ARE NOT ART.

Okay, I think that works... entire webcomics to promote in INTERNET SECRETS.
looking for critique of particular work in ARTS AND STUFF.
show of hands anyone?

But what Justin doesn't say is that it's less than 3 bucks a month to read the archives and it's totally worth it. |

Nice, I can feel less shame when I promote things...even though I pretty much don't have a comic(anymore). |

I write a comic called Cowboy Jim! It is about a turtle that is a cowboy and is coincidentally named Jim! |

I suppose I should get in on this action, even though our updates are few and far between during the school year. Also because once I found Qwantz and the PBF, I sort of realized that you guys had what I wanted to do covered already. Plus, I found a girlfriend so I don't have as much use for internet superstardom as I used to.

I like the ones I have done. But there was a bug and they went down. But they will return soon! I might make more in the future. Some of the other people try and make comics sometimes too, but we all know how that goes. Mainly it doesn't! |

I concur. The one before it is even better in my opinion:
But I am pretty predisposed towards staplers in general.
You also should check out Pixel by Chris Lugosz.
You should also make more comics! |

Ed - holy CRAO i just read through your entire archive and i have got to say
about 41% of your stuff made me crack up. [which is GOOD - i never laugh from things]
and!, good sir:
i APPLAUD you for using PNG format.
if i see you walking down the sidewalk you get a HIGH FIVE
and i know slightly exactly what you did here---
http://tig.trumlaut.com/019XXXX.png
using a tablet you were scribbling while tapping shift, toggling it in and out of forced horizontal position line, and the interpolation rendered guesswork-curves because you were going so fast!
congratulations comrade!
i am talking retarded because i just read your entire archive
::ACTION BRIDGE CAR JUMP::
[and Ryan thanks for liking my stuff, even if you like my commentary better than the comic like everyone does. your template-image formula is inspiring and i frequently find myself tempted to try out the exact same thing for a healthy writing exercise.] |
