less than one of those views is my fault - I just haven't had the heart to delete the bookmark, and when I read webcomics I open all my bookmarks at once so |
yeah same here
anyway i was thinking this would just be flogging a dead horse but if it's an unwinder-baron team-up i can get behind that |

fake fans are better than fake detractors. the fun of it is in finding real detractors, yo |

what if we uh did a new comic like the fantasy one?
i guess it might be more trouble than it's worth, but at least everyone won't know it's intentionally terrible |

i think we probably exhausted the three-panel gamer comic last time. there's not a lot more we can do to keep parodying that. and the new art is pushing in just
a very different
very interesting direction
i say we move the focus of the parody from CAD, etc, to Questionable Content and its ilk
we can keep the gaming elements, obviously, but i'd like to see a more angsty, grown-up, relationships-driven powerup comics
it's the best way of exploring shad as author, it'll give us fresh material, and we can play up his total ignorance of sex and girls even more |

i'd say the hiatus is because shadow and chug started community college
chug took some art classes and draws... "better" now, i guess
it moves towards QC and the like not because the two are any less gamers so much as because they now feel like they are in any sort of social situation, ie, going to shitty parties
which in reality they rarely if ever are |

haha what if we also blame the hiatus on chug not wanting to participate anymore
and shadow replaces him completely with a new artist as his best friend
while chug is demoted to a second dorkwinkle
also i realize i've been making a lot of suggestions in this thread sorry |

i guess this comic could still be entertaining without fooling anyone (not to say it wouldn't be rad)
anyway tyler's thoughts on making it less videogames centered are a great idea |

lazers meant to say this: chug got mad at shadow because unwinder made fun of them in tall comics
that's never canon in this, but it is in utc |

chug is starting college, his parents are paying tuition
shadow is living at home pretending the future will go away
this final, glorious summer
powerup will live again |

shadow considers himself an indie game developer
this constitutes making youtube videos that are just him messing around with garry's mod |

Hm, you know, seeing the comic over here on this forum is one thing, but in context over there with all the comments it's actually quite terrifying... |
