okay so my avatar HAS INSPIRED OCTOBER: Jeff Goldblum Month

I made it a loooooong time ago, and never got to use it, and then when I found it again I thought: I have to use this, I put too much work into it. But I can't help thinking it might be stupid.

So if someone could assure me that they understand it or tell me it isn't stupid (you can lie if you want) it would make me feel a lot better.

I get that it's The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the Eighth Dimension but I don't get what Goldblum is saying. (I haven't seen it in a while, and I am very forgetful.)

Okay okay that's all I needed to know.

It's a panel from the MARVEL COMICS adaptation of The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the Eighth Dimension. Jeff Goldblum plays a musician/neurosurgeon named "New Jersey."

The line "I um, I forgot my mantra." is from Annie Hall. Jeff Goldblum has a three-second "cameo" (he wasn't famous at the time so it's more of a "bit part") where he says that line; it is hilarious.

But obviously the avatar is not, unless you are a big Jeff Goldblum fan I guess.

I especially like Gastrodon's. And everyone else's. I hope though that everyone photoshops a costume on their respective Jeffs for the last week of the month though.
