I forget if I've said this before but I've been thinking lately that maybe I would want to go to law school? After I finish my Bachelor's of course.
Is this a crazy or bad thought? Any tips or tricks? |

Very generally, I'd say law school is hard, but rewarding if you take it seriously. I have strong opinions about deciding whether to go or not, but not anything I'd want to discuss in public.
Feel free to email me, Miles! I'm happy to chat and give you my two cents. |

Steve how is UPenn.
I am interviewing for a job there next week. If you weren't a native english speaker and you were thinking of going to UPenn I guess I could be working in the office that would try to convince you to go to that college. |

Also, to answer your question, I don't know much about the University passed the law school and the fact that the undergrads seem annoying but that might be because I am old.
The law school is very nice. |

steevie freezie
all the kids at my school walk across the river on the weekends to lie in the grass at UPenn and watch the track team run by and pretend that it is really their campus
steevie freezie I have never been is it really as beautiful as everyone says?
is the grass really that green and are the track kids really that luscious is I guess what I'm asking. |

as this is america's premier beer drinking city I can only approve.
i am sure undergrads would be equally annoying to an administrative assistant b. which is i guess what i would be. |

i'm not sure of steve's opinion but i would say that, for an ivy league, the grass around UPenn isn't that idyllic. you'd do better to hop on a train to villanova or princeton. or any of the many wonderful squares and parks in beautiful center city philadelphia.
the city for which both obama and clinton are currently fighting. obamania is sweeping the nation but when the phone rings at 3 AM in pennsylvania apparently he is not the one to answer it. |

Sometimes Obama does kind of a slow sweep where the broom hits a snag but he is deliberate and he's going to get that dust into the bin and this is represented by polls that show him closing the gap and even ahead of Clinton in one poll and that poll represents like he yanked off of the snag and the thing he was snagged on went flying and landed in the bin. |

Guys, Obama was the first president of Harvard Law Reviews which writes about which record or movie is the best, legally.
Hillary Clinton was the first president of nothing, and that will always be true. |

On my walk to school I pass usually two or three "HOPE" posters filling up one glass wall of the bus stops
there's the one where Obama is dignified and looking into the distance in trendy clean web 2.0 colors
and then the one with "HOPE" written in some scratchy graffiti font and Obama's looking right at you being edgy
I have seen exactly zero Clinton posters where she's looking trendy or edgy or anything at all |

the 'hillary' posters where she stares, disappointed, into the middle distance
caption reading "I was up til 3 AM and you never called."

Guys, I have these crises every now and then, and I don't know what to make of them.
My university is in no way challenging, and I end up feeling that I know so much more than any of my professors, which might make them look bad, as you know how much of a scholar I am, and yet it moves.
However, I am pretty sure I wouldn't survive in a very demanding environment, much less in a very demanding carreer.
And when I take any of the books they have us read with fancy colleges, bright futures and challenges of kinds, still, this could-be nostalgia or "regret", as you kids call it nowadays, is steadfast in striking my moral.
Ah, well. |

and just so we're clear
my degrees were in English and Communication with an emphasis in Film and Digital Video.
But if I got this job as an admin asst I would be working with at least one other admin asst who is a doctoral candidate.
look into mine visage and behold the true fate of the liberal arts student |

Miles, what were you thinking about doing with your degree if not law school.
I'm a first year English student and law school was the plan, but lately I've been thinking I might enjoy continuing English beyond undergrad too. |
