No
I'm moving in like two weeks, so no time or money to make it to NYC this year. I'm sad. |

Totally gonna be there dude!
I still wear my "Approved for all audiences" shirt I bought last year. People are always staring at my chest for a few seconds, then chuckling lightly.
I am assuming it is due to the shirt. |

Probably just the shirt then. OR they can see your nipples poking through. |

That doesn't explain why they'd have to stare for a few seconds beforehand. |

Hey Mike -- do you mean the actual first two copies I received, or copies of the book in general? After I received that FedEx box with the two advance copies, I got a bunch more from the printer in China which I am taking to the shows. One of those FedExed advance copies, though, is considered to be the VERY FIRST COPY, and as such it will be sent out as a prize to the winner of my contest. |

I guess ANY copy would have been acceptable, but I wasn't able to make it to the convention so it's academic anyway. Such a shame..I even had my original brown Russian "where is the elephant" shirt all ready to go.
Upon further thought it's probably a good thing I didn't get a book yet. I didn't realize they were made in China. They're probably FULL of lead. |

If anybody wants to mail me their Amazon book, and include a self-addressed stamped envelope (probably have to be a $4.80 Priority Mail envelope), I will be happy to sign it. I was thinking of making this option public but I don't know who would want to pay $10 in postage just for a signature?
I will, however, be offering a free thank-you gift to people who pre-ordered on Amazon before June first. |

"This book is very heavy not only because of the many places the wonder material lead has been used in its fabrication, but because of the weight and importance of the ideas discussed herein.
Or, rolled up, it can make a passable cosh." |

Dude I didn't want to do anything in that heat either, except die. Seriously I don't know how you people can stand it.
If you'll remember, you can order the book on my site in a month, and I get more money than if you order it from Amazon! If you won't remember, then it's probably just best to get it on Amazon now so it's taken care of. But at least use my affiliate link so I get an extra 50¢:

I will sign all books that pass through my hands by default. In addition, I will be offering a special upgrade deal, where for a few extra bucks you can also get a sketch and probably some trinkets as well. |

Is there any bonus for being the 3rd person to post in the new Wondermark forum?
Basically what I'm saying is I need personalizing insentives to buy your book. |

Totally, totally different. Ours is a dry heat. Being in NY was like walking through a fat guy for a week. |

Where do you think I went? Antarctica? I mean, I was very glad I wasn't in the New York subways on Saturday, but walking the streets of Philadelphia in that humidity wasn't any kind of picnic either. |

Oh, I forgot you were probably experiencing the beast as well. That kind of awful weather makes a man self-centered. |
