This maybe a stupid question, or the wrong place to ask it, but the pictures on a Softer World aren't showing up on my computer? Just boxes with X's in them, you know?
I haven't seen the last two strips! This makes me very sad. Please send help. |

Hmm. They load fine for me. Perhaps something is up with your browser? Which one do you use? |

Softer World has to be believed in before it can be seen.

I think the server is disabling remote linking - those links will work if you've already got them in your cache, but otherwise you'll get 403 forbidden. If you visit asofterworld.com though, you should be alright! |

REMOTE LINKING WORKS JUST FINE, ASSUMING McASSUMOR, FROM ASSUMORIA, THE ONE CHOSEN BY THE ASSUMITES TO ASSUME WITH THE ASSUMING SWORD FORGED IN THE MOUNTAINS OF ASSUMANIA BY MASTER ASSUMELDERS.

I use Internet Explorer on Windows XP? Everywhere else is working fine ( I still have Qwantz.com PHEW) It is just the pictures on a Softer World. Even when I go to the site homepage.
Is it something to do with firewalls? Whatever they are? Hah, I am pretty computer illiterate. |

hmm...go into tools>internet options and delete all cookies and temp internet files (including offline stuff)
sometimes that alone seems to work miracles. I take it Eidam's links didn't work?
Also, may I recommend trying another browser? (I use firefox; other people like opera.) Firewalls shouldn't have any affect on this. |
