Hi guys,
I've got this little set of strips I've been doing quite sporadically since October 07. Got to a stop lately as I got quite busy with my job, but I thought I might post them here and maybe someone will like it?
Anyway!
This was the first one called:
To Tumble and Fall coming home from work
To Tumble and Fall walking the dog
To Tumble and Fall playing videogames
To Tumble and Fall doing the dishes
I think that's enough for now... if you're interested I've got 14 more of them :-D |

Videogames is the best one, but I also love how in the first one the door totally comes off its hinges because then you know it's bad news, and then how helpless he appears against the imminent crushing blow of his briefcase. |

Thanks! Yeah, it is quite satisfying seeing the door come off the hinges + the briefcase-crush. Been quite a while since I last looked at that one.
Will post more later today, as I gotta go see Batman now! |

Purely accidental. Really.
Here are the next three and thanks again! Gosh, my internet is so slow, can't check the preview if everything worked out alright. Hope it did. If not, I'll be back later.
To Tumble and Fall at the bar
To Tumble and Fall queuing
To Tumble and Fall meeting the new boss

I love the new ones! The bar one makes my armpit hurt because that is the kind of thing I would actually do.
Gotta agree with Lupus Gene that the dog one is confusing, it pretty much just looks like he's throwing his dog. Anyway, that's my only criticism, I love the drawing style. If you put like a hundred of these in a book, I would buy it. |

I like the boss' fist, like he's all enraged at this guy falling down on company time. |

Oh man, thanks!
Yeah, it does look like dog-throwing.
Hundreds! Oh my. But I've been thinking about compiling enough of them to create a little self-published (i.e. printing them out with my cheap printer and putting them together myself with glue, spit and sawdust) little book.
Still a couple of them to go! Will post some more tomorrow, when I might have stopped telling everyone how great the new Batman movie is. |

those are great! i can see what they are saying about how it looks like the guy is throwing the dog, but i kind of like it that way, so it's pretty excellent to me! i agree with peer when he said it looks like the boss's fist is mad or something. that is definitely my favorite one, followed by the dog throwing one. i would love to see mini posters of these i can put up on my wall, that would be sweet. |

The boss' fist somehow reminds me of George (?) Jetson's boss going 'JETSON!'

Haha. This is just the sort of extremely narrow premise that Unwinder (the character) would feel really conflicted about.
I, Unwinder (the TaBB poster), know for sure that I like it. |

I like it, but I am going to be honest: it seems so stupid that I have no idea why or how I like it. |

If you ever run out of ideas (which it does not really seem you will), you should open up to requests.
Also, I, too, enjoy these greatly. |

This is the purest form of humour. Also nicely drawn. |

yeah the best ones are where there is something to react to him falling i.e. the boss, dog, or the woman
Some of them just seem like they are trying to drive home the concept that this is a guy who has problems with falling but there are still quite a few good ones. Also the dog throwing $$$ |

Gosh, thanks guys.
@trainwreck: I feel a bit like that when drawing it. It's so stupid that I don't quite know why I am doing it.
@Unwinder: I spent the afternoon looking at the Unwinder-webcomic and it was like discovering new, good music. I like it a lot.
@kfunque: I already opened up to requests (will tell you which TnF it is, when I post it). It's just one so far. But yeah, I'm open for good suggestions.
And here's some more from the backcatalogue:
To Tumble and Fall accidentally following the girlfriend and her platonic friend
To Tumble and Fall taking a nap
To Tumble and Fall playing the guitar

Huh. This is kind of interesting, because it's sort of a conceptual thing. But I can't say it made me laugh. That doesn't mean it's bad though. I heard this podcast that someone linked to about how a webcomic can do other things than try and make you laugh... maybe that's what you were going for.
I guess it's not really for me though. Personally, I like my punchlines to be more varied and unexpected. |

Fantastic one where he's dreaming. And the boyfriend one. You could get more and more obscure with each one to where the descriptions are just way out there. 'To tumble and fall on the first Thanksgiving after you got divorced the August before and your cat has been coughing up something nasty lately and you've been thinking about taking him into the vet but don't know if you can afford it since your ex is taking so much child support from you.' |

Yet again: Thanks!
Hugs and kisses all around
Dezro, I'm not quite sure what dmv stands for unfortunately.
Yarn, that's a pretty good idea. I think I'll kind of have to go down that road, as the most simple situations are kind of done already. Made one yesterday because I was on an ego-high from feedback from here, with a rather 'simple' description and I wasn't really happy with it... hm hm. So yeah, good idea that.
El Dude Bro., I started it out as a training for myself to practise character-movement, so I can understand you get that kind of conceptual-vibe from it. At first I was kind of surprised that anyone would laugh looking at them. It might be due to the repetitive nature of it actually, I'm not sure.
Oh, and here's more!
To Tumble and Fall obtaining the Triforce
To Tumble and Fall saying hello to my little friend
To Tumble and Fall picking a fight
