It's Chauncey. It's a bear from our other other favourite webcomic. |

hey everyone. i've done a little lurking, like the look of your community, and i'm just gonna jump right in.
my name is glasshouse (aka damon), i'm 21, welsh, and (durrrr) like webcomics. other interests include: snowboarding, live-action roleplay, and charitable work. in my spare time i play vidyagames, watch too many movies, listen to lots of silly music, and generally do all the things that young people do.
hope y'all kind find it in your hearts to treat me nice ;) |

mostly the second, although i did do a bit of the 'dudes with guns mowing down zombies' kind
though to be honest, for me it's more of an excuse to get out in to a field and chillax for a few days with my friends, y'know? |

fair enough! one of the great things about professors is that they often don't yet know that things like flickr exist ;)

So this really is my first time registering into a forum, so I'm not sure (or too sure if anyone knows the Something Awful site) what to expect. I like many of the webcomic authors/artists in this forum and so I joined.
Ahem, I would like to say hullo and for all purposes and devious actions my name is winged (technically my name is tori and tori is bird in japanese and birds have wings so there we go). I am a fairly new webcomic artist myself but I am a writer mainly. I'm working on a book at the moment so hopefully some of you will see it in the future if I can manage to get it published. Also, one day I may be a rock star who knows?
I enjoy almost too wholeheartedly a good pun and would laugh right off my seat if anyone knows one. I have been into gaming since I was a kid and my favorite titles are Grandia and Suikoden II. My hero is Kirby and also Master Chief. Snatch is a movie I've seen over twenty times. I have tiny hands but I used to be a bass player now learning electric guitar. I like stuff animals?
Everyday is a day to do something. Hmm, here's wagering I'll make at least a few friends. It's nice to meet you guys....guys. Also, sorry this was so long and I am willing to delete it if it is an eyesore. >< |

Hey All!:
anothershamus here, and just outside of Portland Oregon. I wanted to get the moniker brothershamus (like in The Big Lebowski , 'what, like an Irish Monk?') but it was taken and I have used this moniker for several other forums and it seems to be sticking. (Rigorous Intuition here: http://rigorousintuition.ca/board/viewforum.php?f=8,
and boingboing.net, which is where I saw Dinosaur Comics for the first time today and I LMAO ROTF. So I thought I would join up and see what's what.
My wife and I are going to be in Paris this spring, anyone here live there?
Let's have a cafe, eh? |

Thanks for the welcome, yeah I'm worried about talking to internet people a little more now. Thanks.
I'm just would be aspiring to write a book. I only have thirty or so pages. A story about an urban kid who goes into a new world below his own to find a way to save his twin brother. Bum bum bumm.
Also, something about puns? |

Ok I've been wandering around this forum and I've found several threads that I've thought, "yeah, I've got things to say about that", but by the time I've discovered them, the conversation's taken a 90 degree turn into surreality. Don't get me wrong, that's basically the reason I love reading this forum, but it does leave me pretty much clueless as to what to say.
Any advice? I've considered randomness, but newbies on forums with "random" and "whacky" personas are kind of terrible a lot of the time.
Waddya reckon? Carry on lurking? |
