So Ryan keeps mentioning this [riceboy] one on Qwantz.
I started reading it a while ago, and I became instantly hooked. It's basically this adventure/fantasy thing that doesn't take itself too seriously. Also the main character has no limbs to speak of.
also: the other main character is a robot! |

I love rice-boy! Saw it only recently, and hopefully, will soon catch time to go through the archives. The part I read through is gorgeous and excellent! |

Yeah, I've been enjoying this one for a while. I mentioned it to Ryan months ago, and then when he finally posted something about it, I was like, "'Bout time!" and he said, "I MAKE MY OWN TIME, FOOLISH MORTAL." |

All I read is the chapter descriptions and I already think I love this. |

You guys who haven't read everything yet, savor this because soon you'll be caught up and you'll wish there was way more. |

I read the whole lot today and would also like to express my approval!
Gorgeously drawn and brilliantly whimsical, although perhaps just a tad slow-paced. |

And yet you continue, fueled by your muscular hatred! (Aaron D is a big liar he posts on the Rice Boy forum all the time all fanboyishly I seen it)
Rice Boy is so good. Someone should be TOE for Halloween. I can't because I don't have an awesome jacket, but other people can. You can. Go for it. |

I am happy we are talking about the internet comic The Rice Boy. I have been reading it for about 2 months and often check alot sometimes for updates.
Although I will admit I hope he doesnt continue it forever - as in, every great movie can be ruined by not knowing when to get to the denouement and end the thing. Not that I am saying it's there now, but it's one of the greatest webcomic stories and I hope it is treated well.
(I trust Evan Dahm in every way!) |

Dang. I remember seeing this last winter when there were only 8 chapters up, and I read them all and was rather "meh" about it.
But DANG it gets really good after that. It's like if Dr. Seuss wrote an epic. |

Yeah! Like how I feel whenever I read Dresden Codak! Only at least with Dresden Codak, new pages don't come that often! |

One time I was reading Rice Boy and a guy offered to cut my hands off instead and I let him!
The only part of Rice Boy I like is the writing and the art. |

I just started reading this the other day. It is suitably awesome.
Another comic I found through Ryan's newsbox. The man has good taste in comics.
I steeled myself for spoilers before opening this thread but fortunately there have been none. This is good because I am only on chapter six so far. I believe there are a fair number more before I get to the "present day"
a bear:
I have an awesome jacket so I may try to be T.O.E. at Halloween. Whether I have the proper technology is debatable though. |

I really enjoy this comic, but I always feel kind of blue when I'm reading it. I'm not sure why. |
