THE LATEST STRIP hit pretty close for me, because I have been to experimental electronic concerts on multiple occasions, and I have had the same feeling of "This is fascinating, but it's giving me a headache." |

Haha, yeah, I went to an experimental music evening once; it included live tap dance converted to electronic music and a guy who had programmed a sound under each key of his keyboard (traffic, animals, etc) and just pressing them randomly.
The rest was pretty cool, there were giant Japanese drums and Four Tet was in the audience before performing his set. |

Nobody can touch John Campbell's style, but holy cow Josh Lesnick shouldn't even be trying. |

Wait which one was Lesnick's?
EDIT: Found it in the archives (I thought it was in the current round of guest comics). Blaugh. Though I can understand the appeal of people trying to make happy, uplifting guest comics for PFSC, since, whatever, irony and stuff. Kinda borders on Tastes Like Diabetes though. ALSO does anyone think that Aaron Diaz's guest comics are like unbearably pretentious or is that just a halo effect I'm getting from the Dres?
Anyway, I just noticed that when I look between PFSC's panels, you get the weird dots-in-the-intersections-but-only-when-you're-not-looking effect.
OH GOD |

Diaz's pfsc guest strips have been pretty pretentious, yes, but whether they're unbearable is a personal issue we all must wrestle with ourselves. |

I really wanted to bid on the originals of John Campbell's hourly comics, but the bidding is over $400. And that is in AMERICAN MONEY which pretty much crumples our weak Australian dollars. |

gee, i don't often see webcomickas selling their original art,
(well lots of them are digital and have no originals)
but always secretly hope i can sell my original comics someday,
since they're better in person than online!
but four hundred dollars is a cozy sum for any 8.5" by 11" sheet in my book |

He's obviously realised he can make money that way, he is selling another one. All the best to him, I say, I hope to acquire one.
And yes, Australian dollars are weaker than most western currencies I'd say. Except New Zealand dollars. Let's face it, New Zealand is only good for lord of the rings scenery and beached whale animations. |

Comics like Sheldon and Evil Inc sell the originals of every strip. |

Ok I bid on it, I was going to buy it as a present, but then the bidding passed $110 and there are still several days left of the auction so I gave up.
My prediction is that it passes $300. |
