Looking through my old stuff, I found this folder with a picture of a really X-treme iguana on it. A relic of 1994.
On the inside I found a list of ways that following all the rules is actually NOT following the rules, so it's cool again. Also, more preciously, I found an attempt by my eight-year-old self to duplicate the picture from the cover.
That's all I have to say. |

As soon as I saw your iguana...wow, that's fun to say. Sorry.
As soon as I saw your iguana, I thought of an ad on the back of the only Spider Man comic I have from the '90s.
Note that it's from the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, and that the premise is 'To win during the olympics, you can be active... or, just drink coke!!!'
In conclusion,

Oh man, I never saw that iguana one before, but I had:
EXTREME eagle tearing a football TO SHREDS
EXTREME warthog tearing a basketball TO SHREDS
EXTREME [crap I can't remember what animal] tearing a baseball TO SHREDS |

My favorite part is how for your iguana you just drew Quincy from Fox Trot. |

That's a really ugly kid, slightly creepy. And it's good to know I'm being active while feeding my caffeine addiction. |

I know, you can almost see the advertisers salivating over the cross-promotion.
When I first read the NO Rules, I though the first one said "No drug RULES my body. I am an attitude." and it was some kind of AltBro personal branding jargon.
All in all I think your '90s relic has a slightly better message for the kids. |
