so I got a slow cooker for my birthday, and I am now making yellow split pea dahl in it :)
but what other tasty foods can I make? suggestions please :) |

1 can black beans
1 can butter beans
1 can navy beans
1 can chopped tomatoes, Italian style, undrained
1 chopped yellow onion
1 chopped yellow bell pepper
1 chopped red bell pepper
1 chopped green bell pepper
15 mL chili powder
10 mL cumin
10 mL oregano
5 mL salt
3 mL ground cinnamon
50 mL semisweet chocolate chips
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and minced
2 bay leaves
10 mL hot pepper sauce
240 mL minced fresh cilantro to garnish
place stuff in slow cooker (except cilantro), walk away for like 6-8 hours, garnish bowls with cilantro |

I converted all the measurements for you except cans because I want you to try it that badly (don't know how many centicylinders in a can). |

Dice a bunch of apples into one inch (2.5 cm) chunks and turn the slow cooker on. Four to five hours later: warm applesauce. |
