I was wondering why you use the more pixelly kind then the high quality stuff I know you have.
Is there some kind of hidden meaning ? |

72 DPI 4EVAH
The hi-res ones are a bonus treat! Also, I have a version of the comic with hi-res art, and it is Very Unusual. It changes the nature of the comic! |

Back in the olden days we didn't have fancy high-speed interwebs or more than 256 colors. We had to make do with 72 DPI and a 14.4k modem...

Theory: this answer can be used in response to most any "Why didn't you" question ever.
(Subtheory: the phrase "most any" gives you all of the strength of "any", but with the escape hatch of "most", allowing you to use it to say most anything.) |

Actually, there were plans to put a version of it on the script that puts different pictures over the images (that was TOTALLY grammatical) but then I got slow!
