Today's comic is based on this one retarded movie millions of people saw this weekend.

Mr. Steve Carey I represent a major hollywood studio and we would like to turn your comic into a movie you will get big bucks but here is the catch you will probably think it is totally lame because it is a movie based on a comic

also it stars natalie portman and zach braff

Is it called "The SuperShins Will Change Your Life in New Jersey: The Movie"? Because I have totally already passed on that project.

Guys, the new X-Men movie is seriously like a giant $100 million turd only with dumber dialogue.

Is it wrong if I enjoy this comic so much more when I read it pretending that Scott is really Burt Reynolds?

I should note that I also do this with T-Rex, and it is always an improvement.

Yeah, you're right. I should put my boy scout skills to use and make my own photoshops out of VCRs. My own SUPERIOR QUALITY photoshops.

TFB, in this instance, the Photoshops is the craftsman and you are the tools.

TFB, my stand-up routine is 50% about how my VCR clock always says 12:00. It's pretty good stuff.

Mine always blinks 12:00, but I set it to do that. A techno whiz like me can have fun too you know.

TFB, did you see the X-Man movie? If so, what was your least favorite part?

Mine was all of it.

I didn't like how they didn't represent mutants realistically, and there were some serious continuity errors when Gandalf the Magnetic is sometimes wearing a hat and sometimes isn't wearing a hat.

The movie taught me that, while some mutants will develop complex powers, most will develop the power to jump in the air once and then fall down.

It happens in the first ten minutes and don't worry Andy - it has exactly zero emotional impact. It's all, "Scott's dead. Wait, look over here now where this thing is happening!"

Did it bother any of you guys that being near Leech made Beast lose his blue fur, even though in the comics his fur isn't the result of his mutation? Most of my friends think that was the low point of the film.

I liked the part where Scott died. I thought it was really well done, because Scott dies.

I liked X3 in spite of the bad dialogue and the poor plotting. I'm not sure why.

As for Beast, I can only assume that in the movie, the blue fur WAS caused by the mutant x-gene. And that particular part of the x-gene was activated by some external stimulus between X2 and X3. Just like Juggernaut's powers didn't come from a magic ruby in the movie.

My main beef with X3 is the scene right BEFORE the credits, which essentially undermines the ENTIRE PLOT OF THE MOVIE.

I thought that was weird too until I talked to a friend who knows more about Marvel comics then I do, and he claimed that Beast's blue skin is due to him artifically advancing his mutation. So I guess it makes sense. But really, that wasn't my biggest problem with the movie.

I am glad that Scott stayed alive I.R.L.
Maybe this means Rogue didn't lose her powers too.

Steve I am now mostly looking forward to MoCCA as a chance for you and me to commiserate about how bad X3 was!
