yo w!p dudes
i PMed Kundor and got him to fix image uploading (by updating MediaWiki! awesome) and also he's added a YouTube plugin
so if you want to add a youtube video to a page, grab the video ID in the URL (the mess of letters and numbers after the = sign) and do this

I was Googling for something the other day and I was reading the wikipedia entry for a little while before I realized it was actually a wooo!pedia entry
I forget what it was but it was pretty helpful anyway ! |

Hey, Tyler, can we ask the guy who wrote the article to take down the reference to wooopedia? I mean, as flattering as it is to be mentioned in a major article, it still kinda sucks that it was in comparison to Encyclopedia Dramatica, and anyway I would like it if Kundor's hosting was up before the big forum move? |

It's interesting that they don't even provide context for what Wooo!pedia is.
Uh, but if I operated a web site for a major publication and someone asked me to edit a days-old article, I would laugh or be pissed off or something.
That doesn't mean it's outside the bounds of reason. It's just a relatively new idea, and I'm not sure there's precedent to listen. |
