????????

Even if I really like a book, I'm looking forward to the end, to having experienced the whole book and feeling I'm done with it.
But a friend of mine says he wants good books to keep going... 4ever!!

So, what's your O on this M?

can't say I
care about finishing it and
if I wanted it to keep on going I could
read it again

But there's a difference between the experience of reading a book and re-reading a book.
To me, the novelty of an idea may count as much as the quality of the idea.

at the point that you think a book is so good you want it to go on forever it
is no longer novel
unless you are somehow assured that the rest of it will be as good as the stuff you already know is good

The idea that you don't know what is going to happen usually lasts until the end.

Why is it moronic to enjoy the infinite possibilities of the unexpected?

I feel this way about TV shows kind of

I think it's good when a show tells it's story and then ends. I hate when they drag on.

Yes, all my favorite tv shows have been cancelled and I thought I had a specific taste but it turned out I just like to move on before something gets ruined.

feel both ways att

if i'm

really really liking it
i constantly think about how many pages i have left

both
anxious to get to the end and get the satisfication
and dreading it being over

kind of stinks cause there's no like
inbetween where i'm just satisfied

but then i guess there's no point where i'm
not satisfied at all
