As of today, with the removal of the link from Qwantz.com, these are no longer the forums of Dinosaur Comics. Nor the PBF I suppose, though A Softer World still has a link to the old forums.

We don't really talk about A Softer World enough, you guys.

I'm a little more surprised to learn you can put icons next to topics

Also there were just too many times where someone new would show up and get torn apart, and it made me feel bad. But not when that happens it won't be someone coming from my comics, so I won't feel bad for that particular reason!

can we pick a new official collective interest? bear in mind that i am currently having to tell people i met my girlfriend on a forum for a webcomic about talking dinosaurs

Wait it was still where you met her. It's like if a bar was O'Reilly's and you met a girl there and then you had kids but by the time the kids were old enough to understand the bar was called Paddy's I mean would you say you met at Paddy's or O'Reilly's?

As in I feel a better solution was to remind the few (very vocal) people who tend to be jerks to new people not to be jerks? And make use of the already available moderator functions to enforce this instead of disowning the entire forum? (Or get someone else to do it?) But WHATEVS

I GUESS TO PUT IT MOST BASICALLY I FEEL INSULTED BECAUSE YOU'RE SAYING THE REASON YOU DROPPED THE LINK IS BECAUSE WE'RE MEAN WHEN THE REAL REASON IS YOU DON'T FEEL LIKE DOING THE MODERATION THAT A FORUM REQUIRES OR AT THE VERY LEAST APPOINTING SOMEONE ELSE TO DO THAT MODERATION

I MEAN THERE'S NO LAW SAYING THAT IF YOU MAKE A FORUM YOU HAVE TO KEEP UP WITH IT BUT DON'T IGNORE IT AND THEN BLAME THE FORUM WHEN YOU FINALLY DECIDE TO STOP ENDORSING IT
