I'm reading The Fountainhead and it's well written, the story is OK and isn't obnoxiously drenched with objectivism.

that is pretty damning though other than 'well written' (i.e. an okay story and not too obnoxious)
like would you say it is entertaining/joke-giving enough that you don't think you'll regret it???

I think being well written is more important to me than having a good story, so I can certainly live with it.
Otherwise, no, I wouldn't read it for joke value.

So far, there are only 2 jokes being used here: who's John Galt? & Roark hates balconies.
Nothing you can't understand or appreciate enough with only wikipedia.

If you're dedicated to trying as many different kinds as possible, best milkshake I ever had was in Austin. A restaurant there put an entire slice of cheesecake into a vanilla shake.

Place near me in Toronto has pie-shakes... a slice of pie roughly blended in. Delicious.

Saying "protein" makes it so much less apetizing. What's in it?

That does look pretty good, but by my definitions that's a smoothy, not a shake.

ugh never "smoothy"
if you're gonna use the word, it's smoothie.
the y
on the end
looks so awkward

(same goes for "slushy"... it's slushie imo, and "slurpy" is slurpee)

anyway i would classify it as a shake, because it's cream-based, as are iceCREAM milkshakes,
and smoothies generally use milk or juice.

but i guess in the sense that it's not so sweet, it could be a smoothie.
