Probably No Country for Old Men, I guess. I've only seen half of them, though.

Barton Fink was pretty good.

Don't think I haven't noticed your dodging of my questions, Thorsby.

Going to assume it is, despite the evidence. I never would have guessed you were a Madonna fan.

Lebowski seemed underwhelming to me, but so do all Coen Bros movies...?

I caught the end of Fargo on TV once and remember enjoying it well enough.

Lebowski took a while to grow on me, but O Brother Where Art Thou is almost as good. A Serious Man was hard to like mostly because I don't like Paul Giamatti, for reasons I can't put my finger on. But I love it when they work with John Turturro, and Barton Fink is maybe my favorite movie with him.

He wasn't it that.

that might be why it was so hard for him to put his finger on why
hating paul giamatti would be a good reason to hate A Serious Man

No Country for Old Men is my fave, but

Got to say, I liked The Ladykillers a lot more than it deserved.

I legit. can't decide! I rly like the coen brothers.

I suppose I'm one of the few people for whom Burn After Reading is a serious candidate for my favourite, though

It consists almost entirely of what is I guess my favourite coen bros trope, to wit, 'dumb misunderstandings' and 'dialogue that just goes round in circles'

I also like how the soundtrack is scary and sinister, even in the funny scenes

it makes the jokes seem terrifying and the characters seem pathetic, contemptible
