Eat as much (and more) than you possible can, go back, and throw it all up on her.

The ensuing court case will make you reconsider your values and life goals.

I like the consistency better than regular yogurt and I tend to eat it more when I'm exercising and trying to build muscle due to the higher protein content. I also always eat it plain so I think that might impact why I like it better than other yogurts?

I like it a lot, though I've had this FAGE stuff more than Chobani, since you can get it in 2% instead of whole which is 18% of your fat for the day. Recently I also found a strained yogurt called Siggi's. It's Icelandic and comes in kind of odd flavors like Orange-Ginger. I still intend to try it.

Oh this thread reminds me that I need to buy a bunch of yogurt while I'm out so I don't keep getting breakfast at the gas station.

They had the FAGE stuff too but Chobani was on sale. The Chobani I had was non-fat; do you think if I got 2% I would like it better? The other thing that annoyed me was that I missed that the Chobani had a shit load of sugar in it. Used to my regular non-fat yogurt that has a little sugar but also some artificial sweetner so it's less caloric. I don't know why I didn't think to check that. Orange-ginger sounds pretty amazing.

it ruins the texture. that is, if you're into super thick yogurt. I think there is a note about this on the side of the container?

what no don't stir any yogurt ever god damn it no it breaks up all the shit that holds it together makes it all watery and crap. If water ever forms on your yogurt pour it out or soak it up don't stir it.

anyway, chobani and fage are alright. I like Stony Creek. I don't really eat yogurt much though, I mostly just use it to make curry sauces or things. Occasionally with granola and fruit.,

Yogurt update: this icelandic stuff is kinda wack. Was surprised to find that there was whey on the top when I opened the container, which isn't usually there with Greek yogurt. It's WAY tangy, and though it's not bad, I wouldn't try it again.

about to make some altbro yoghurt, yall 8-)

I don't have an "electric blanket"
so
should I:

-put it in an oven
-put it next to a space heater
-????????????

don't know
what I can do here

also I don't have high tech altbro thermometers so I can't tell how well things work

heard re: some other person talking about making yoghurt that
it's
not really a huge deal
re:
getting a perfect temperature
like
they said that you could even
put a wet paper towel in a microwave
microwave it
and then put the yoghurt in the warmed microwave

??!!??!?!?!?!?!?

if you're just supposed to maintain a steady, body-temperature-ish range for bacterial colonisation, then yes

remember if you go too high you'll kill bacteria and if you go too low, they won't reproduce anything like as fast

p. sure I
heated the milk up too much
and killed the bacteria when I mixed it with the yoghurt

via
trying to use a meat thermometer
that starts at 130
to figure out when the milk is 120

milk is tricky to heat at the best of times

seriously though if you put this in a bottle and sleep with it tonight, by tomorrow it should be yoghurt

-get an esky or like a water cooler with a wide mouth
-half fill it with hot water
-get your jar of yoghurt and put it in the hot water
-leave it sit

my mum has been making yoghurt this way for the past 20 years or so and i don't think she's ever completely fucked up a batch
