Those poor dragon dancers won't know what's up! And the main character children were deafened for the rest of the book. The subsequent chapters were set in rehabilitation centers, and depicted them dealing with post-traumatic stress. While teaching the mandarin words for fruits and foods, and also they did go to the Moon with Sun Wukong.

it's probably going to be the other way around the way the currency markets are going, if that makes you feel any better

no no no, cabbie is right (as usual), the markets have little relation to the renminbi, as the Chinese government is preventing it from reacting as it otherwise would macro-economically pretty harshly.

I think the point is actually that it doesn't matter how rich or poor a Texan kid is, they are still probably going to use Mandarin to talk badly about Mexican people. Even if they are Mexican overlords. A Texan is always going to feel/act superior. Even when he is landscaping a Mexican's lawn.

I am relying on an English to Pinyin translator here, so this might be MIGHTY WRONG, but I just want to hear a Texan cry out, "Jìzhù Alamo!"

I was thinking I hadn't really been drawing lately except for quick MS Paint things, but I guess I did sketch this little dog in a matter of minutes for a thing.

My favorite part is realizing how tiny that little octo-pardner is.

And my favorite part of this picture is how I just now realized that I forgot to include his arm bones. But the important part is that he has no heart left anymore.

Because that turtle is a gosh darn mess!

I should redraw it with Hendrix's face stuck in there somehow and sell it to tattoo people. Maybe it can be a sea turtle laying eggs and all the eggs would be the faces of Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain etc

I have a class about data visualization but it's not a very good class and the teacher isn't teaching it much, so I decided to start making my projects big and silly. The project was to make some sort of motion graphic that visualizes some kind of data. So I found data on something very specific (hectares of old growth forest habitat for Black-Backed Woodpecker in the Mazinaw-Lanark forest in eastern Ontario) and presented it in a silly/deadpan way.

So I was a total slowpoke rodriguez getting this online. Here's my thesis works and paper!

In May ICAW asked me to post it viewtopic.php?f=8&t=5054

I can and will wrote:
hahah that's fantastic!

Can you post it?

Also we talked about it in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=5688&p=242499

So finally, after all that, here it is. Probably not worth the wait!

http://www.wafs.ca/thesis.html

(click "more of this work" to see more. There are 3 works, and a paper)

These are some cool things. Read the paper. I like how you put them all together.

I uh, did not watch all of century schoolbook though.

That is expected! If you watched all through Cycle that is quite enough sittin' around. For context, both are presented looping in the gallery- Cycle projected large on a wall, Century Schoolbook on a small monitor on a plinth. Maybe I should include installation views on the site?
