Statted them up as a playable race because I wanted to play a character based on Doctor Zaius before I realized that they would just enable furries rather than getting people to play as subhuman horrors.

d20 Modern actually has cat-people in the back chapters, although I don't think they're part of the SRD so I can't really link it to you. There were a handful of animals (bat, dog, cat, bear, dolphin, and I think one other thing) that you could be a kind of mutate of (called a Moreau) with three different levels of how mutated they were.

I mean obviously it's late in the game to know this now but I guess if something similar comes up again you can look it up?

It's a pretty big mess, and every day I am more convinced that it can only be appreciated by the extremely initiated.

But I recently got permission to edit it myself, since the original in-charge creator guys gave up on it, so I am trying to fix it up to be at least not riddled with typos.

I think using "wat" in place of "what" is one internet thing that just bugs me for no good reason.

I think that's the first time I've seen it in full context, re: "what" vs. "wat." Otherwise, I've only seen it as kind of an exaggerated/stupefied /"Are you an idiot?" shortened to "wat"

Do you really suppose they're referencing the Great War here? It's more a general comment on the Greatest Generation and it's can-do ideals, I think. There aren't any combat veterans left.

That was also a dispute over bonus pay due to long-term schemes introduced following the war. Soldiers were payed when they got back from Europe. Looking at wikipedia, Coolidge didn't even want to do it, and they organised it for a bonus pay-out in '45 because everything looked great economically at the time and that would give them long enough to get the money together without fucking the country. Also because you guys had a really shit run of presidents between Wilson and Roosevelt.

If he is a WWI vet then your comment may well be the point of the comic. But it's still not a great point for anyone to make. Although it was an important moment in the American struggle for social welfare, which I guess means it is a valid point.
